A Poem by Christina Johnson (Hurren) ... Uncle Jim
Created by Christina 7 years ago
Uncle
Jim always had a smile and a joke I didn't always get the jokes but that made
him laugh even more. I will always remember Uncle Jim with a smile. My
sisters and I were blessed to have Iris and Jim in our lives when we needed a
loving safe home, they have both made us the fantastic Mums, Wives caring and
loving people that we are today.
I
have wrote a little poem in remembrance, I have added music that was composed by my son Lucas it is called 'Goodbye'...
Uncle Jim
Holding tight a hope that's lost, 3 sisters all alone
Frightened faces teary eyes reflect a broken home
A friendly face, a smile, a hug that takes away the fear
A loving place to stay, belong, a family atmosphere
Years of laughter healed the scars a life so long ago
We learned to trust, to love, to cry, you helped us all to grow
To be ourselves, to dream, to hope, to face the good and bad
We owe so much and always will, Uncle Jim, our Foster Dad
